• Go to the Pearson VUE website at https://pearson.ibtfingerprint.com/
• Select Register for Fingerprint Card Processing Service (second option from left to right).
• Choose your Agency Name from the dropdown list, in this case you will use: DBPR - Real Estate Sales and Brokers and press Go.
• Fill in all necessary demographic information (fields marked with red *)
• Once you have entered the information, select "Submit" at the bottom of the page and you will be provided with a verification page. You must verify that all information provided is correct, that they are being printed to the correct agency, and that you have completed the entry of the necessary demographic information.
• If everything is correct select "Go" at the top of the page.
• Choose your payment method and then "Select". At this time you can enter both your credit card / debit card.
• Print the payment confirmation sheet.
• Go to the closest police station to your home and request a fingerprint card for Real Estate licenses.

• When you are in your account, select the "Apply for a New License" option - search in the list for REAL ESTATE COMMISSION >> Real Estate Sales Associate >> Initial Application-Sales Associate License (Form RE 1) - Read the instructions carefully and make sure you have all the necessary documents and requirements before starting the application filling process. - Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find >>"Apply Using Online Services" - click on it.
• Complete each section of the application form following the provided instructions. Ensure that you enter accurate and precise information.
• Carefully review each response before moving on to the next section. It is important to avoid errors or incorrect information that may delay or affect the application process.
• Once you have completed all the required sections, review all the entered information again to verify its accuracy. If possible, save an electronic copy of the completed application for your records.
• Make the payment for the corresponding fees ($64, this amount may vary). Follow the provided instructions to complete the online payment process. Ensure that you have the appropriate payment methods, such as credit or debit cards, to finalize the payment.
• Depending on the type of license and specific requirements, you may need to wait for a certain period of time for the DBPR to review and process your application. (Real estate license typically takes 10 to 20 business days). During this time, it is advisable to stay attentive to any communication or request for additional information from the DBPR.
• Once your application is approved, you will receive an email indicating that you are eligible to take the state exam. This approval will be valid for 2 years, giving you the option to take the exam as many times as necessary during this period. After passing the exam, you will receive your Florida real estate license, usually in the form of a card or certificate.
